If you're ever walking down the street while my brother and I are playing Police Simulator, you're going to meet either the good cop or the bad cop.

Good Cop

Good Cop is yours truly, I am your friendly here to help cop on the street. If you say hello to me, I'm going to make sure that I say hello back. Even if I have to run after you because I missed the button pop up. In a major car accident? I'm going to do my best to get your statement and figure out what happened. I'll take pictures of your car just to make sure that the police report is full of knowledge. Litter or walking around intoxicated? I'm the cop for you, because I will just tell you not to do it again. I am the good cop on Police Simulator. I try to help everyone the best I can and always trust the good samaritans of Police Simulator City. On the other hand, if my partner finds you...

Bad Cop

May the odds be in your favor though if my brother finds you on the street in Police Simulator. He is asking for your ID, checking your gun permit, and frisking you down. Walking down the street suspiciously... he's already clocked you and asking for your identification. Trying to run away... I wouldn't. Hit his car while he is on a traffic stop? Straight to jail. Have a gun without a permit? Straight to jail. Carrying drugs? Straight to jail. Say hello to him? He's got questions: Why are saying hello? Are you hiding something? Trust doesn't come with this cop partner, but it does make for some really fun times pretending to be officers of the law.

Pros and Cons of the Game

We started playing this game a week ago as we looked on Xbox Game Pass on what to play together. So I have some things I really like about the game and some things that really stress me out:

Pros:

  • I like that you can play with your friends and they help you take care of the city.

  • I like that you start as a beginner to learn how the game works and it progresses with you.

  • I like that as you grow as an officer and your responsibilities also grow.

  • You can pick your cop's style and small customization on how they look (premade skins).

Cons:

  • Sometimes the game causes the NPCs to freeze and things will stop moving when you call in the tow truck.

  • During the Traffic Jams, the NPCs will park and their wheels will start to spin.

  • The radar gun is hard to keep on moving vehicles to get speeding tickets done.

  • Vehicle crashes cause the game to freeze in place and their crash doesn't move to let other "crimes" happen.

Conclusion

In conclusion, although this game has some bugs I still have a lot of laughs when playing with my brother. The game is not stressful at the moment and I have the option to stop incoming calls during our scheduled shift time. This takes a lot of the stress off of me feeling like I need to be at multiple places at once. When he gets back from his archery trip, we will jump back into our personas and keep Police Simulator citizens safe... even from themselves.
