Heartopia Consumed Fast, But Left Me Bored

Heartopia has become a very popular computer and mobile game over the last few weeks. As a player, I can see why. This game has consumed me body and soul, it is all I ever think about! I make sure to login every day to collect my login rewards, complete daily tasks, and take care of my animals. The bad thing about it being a mobile game, is that I will continue editing my house when I should be in bed not starring at a screen. This game is so much fun with making friends or playing with friends you know!

Character Creation

My Character

One of the first things that will attract me to a game, is character creation. How can I make this character seem like me, but in this videogame world? Though the beginning character creation is very basic at the start, you will be able to buy more customization options through dressing up, hairstyles, and accessories. There are so many options for your character. You don't have to be just the cute dressy character. I have seen rocker styles, cozy styles, and jogging pants. You can express yourself however you see fit! Above the clothes shop is a place where you can change your hairstyle as well! Overall, the character creation is pretty in depth, but I do wish I could find a perfect pair of rectangle glasses to match my own.

Hobbies

My Garden

Through the game you will unlock hobbies! There are a total of seven hobbies to unlock in the game. The one of the first hobbies you will unlock is fishing and farming. It is so calming to grow your own crops, then eventually use them to help take care of animals or make food. Currently, my favorite hobby is Dog and Cat caring. I love taking care of my animals, especially since they both represent animals that I have lost. I can now take care of them virtually for the rest of my Heartopia life. The following are hobbies that you will work through in Heartopia:

• Gardening- flowers included eventually!

• Bird Watching

• Fishing

• Insect Catching (with a Bubble Wand)

• Dog Care

• Cat Care

• Cooking

There are some events that will help you level up your hobbies, so when you can join those events. The only event I tend to avoid is the bird watching event. It is set in the fishing village and it is difficult to find birds while being in a village instead of in a forest. I tend to spend a lot of time on my hobbies after I have complete my daily and weekly quests.

Fun Things To Do

Not only do you complete quest, work on hobbies, and dress up your character. You get to build your own cozy home with complete (and law following) creativity! You can ride around town on a scooter or car, if you login seven days in a row. You have furniture you can interact with in your house and inside the town. You can even solve puzzles, write books, and paint or design art, clothes, and furniture. Throughout the world you can forage for material that you need to build furniture or cook meals. Also throughout the town are bubbles that pop up with unique items, clothes, money, or energy. So far my favorite puzzle is how I am going to get my cat down from being in the roof.

This game has consumed my everyday thoughts and I make sure I log on to get my daily quests done, just to level up my D.G. Membership. I know once I unlock the book writing station and dream, I'm going to be busy sitting at my virtual desk typing away. If you haven't downloaded the game yet, you definitely should give it a try, especially if you like cozy games that you can play with your friends.

The game started out really strong, but I have found myself recently bored. Every day I log in, only to do five quest and take care of my animals. I lost interest in the game when things started becoming repetitive and having to pay to receive the My Little Pony cars really bothered me. On my computer I started lagging so harshly due to people's homes being massive.
