What Would You Do?

Would you quit your teaching job to become a fulltime content creator?
This question was asked to me by one of my best friends. Honestly, my answer surprised even myself.
Content Creating:
I have been creating content on TikTok for one year since last summer. It started out as a private server so that I just posted for myself and close friends. Then, I took the leap of faith and started posting publicly. At first it was silly videos of myself as a mom going through the potty training stage with my toddler. Then I started sharing my love of gaming and clips I had taken from my xbox. Things changed then! I wasn't just seeing growth, I was living in it. Now at 365 days of TikTok, I find myself no longer stressing about what takes or what fails, just enjoying that others either hate my content so much they call me trash or love it so much they share it.
After feeling successful, in my own way on TikTok, I moved over to YouTube. This is where I noticed the biggest difference in my content. My videos on average are much higher than on TikTok. I started to notice that to get more views on TikTok, they want me to "just spend $15 and get over 6000 views." Whereas, on YouTube they are actively pushing my content out to their users.
Extensive Training? No. I have not had to learn new skills to accomplish these things, I have all the skills I needed from teaching and years of creating things online for my students. I am able to create thumbnails on Canva for my YouTube content. Most people use AI to help them create thumbnails and that is ok too, but I know for the blog and my content I like the feeling of something coming together by my hands.
Answer to the Question
So, would I quit my teaching job to become a full content creator or blogger? The answer is: yes. I would so that I could homeschool my children, make content, and spend more of my energy watching my kids grow. I would have more time to be their mom instead of most of my time being spent as a teacher for 8 hours. Even if I don't make it as a content creator, I think the biggest lesson I have learned is that chasing my dreams is not stupid and I have learned to be confident in myself.
But.... could you imagine if I did make it and this would be my main income? That's a dream worth the chase.
What would your answer be? What would you do if your dreams came true?

chase those dreams!!!!
